from SUNY College at Brockport in 2010 and earned his MFA in creative
writing from The Ohio State University in 2013.  His essays have been
published in SlateColorado ReviewThe Normal School, Hayden’s Ferry
Puerto del Sol, and elsewhere.  His essay, “Blank Slate,” was
listed as a Notable Essay in the 2014 edition of Best American Essays.  
He is currently an assistant professor of creative writing at Ball State
University and lives in Muncie, Indiana.
